Fall semester is really tough.  Spring semester is tough, too, but for other reasons.

Fall semester is tough because it’s also the start of football season.  Being a football fan, both college and pro, both televised and live, it’s really hard for me to read for class when football is calling.  Tonight started the real pre-season television games at my house, and tonight we are doing “date night” in-house to watch the Lions/Patriots game.

I’m really glad that the NFL antitrust issues are over, for now at least, since I like football.  I just wish I didn’t have 100 pages of reading calling me as well.  It’s a tough choice.  Makes me wonder again why I’m going to school at my advanced age!
