My husband and I are looking forward to dinkhood. Ours begins in approximately 1379 days. What is dinkhood you ask?

Dinkhood is where one becomes a DINK. This is a stage in life for which I have been striving for many years. Dinkhood is what most parents eventually want, although there seem to be some weirdos out there who think it’s a bad thing. DINK means dual income, no kids. After raising one plus two others for half of their lives, I feel we are totally entitled to Dinkhood status.

So, 1,379 days is how long, as of this moment, before our youngest graduates from high school when she’s 18.

All I can say is “bring it on”!
