Ever since I’ve been in law school, every Saturday night, we have date night.  Most of the time, we go out to the movies, and we’ve seen just about every new release that has come out in the past two years.  It’s been a great time, although I think part of that has led to me gaining like 30 pounds over the past few years!  We are on a new diet plan, now, and together, we have lost about 25 pounds in 3 weeks.  I’ve been swimming and doing some aerobics, plus watching what I eat.  That includes the movie nachos, which I’ve now given up.

We went tonight, and we say Crazy, Stupid Love, which was very good.  It was funny, and it was a good time.  It was, of course, without my beloved nachos.  This was okay, but it was also a little sad.  It’s like losing a friend, but then again, it was like gaining a new sense of independence.  I know that by forgoing the 1,100 calories also means that I don’t have to do 180 laps in the pool to get rid of the calories.  This makes me happy.

I have lost 12 pounds so far.  My goal is to lose about 35 all together.  I started swimming on July 3, so I have done really well so far.  We started using MyFitnessPal. com on July 9, and that has also been very good.  It feels good to fit into my clothes a little better.  I have a whole wardrobe up in the attic calling my name.  I can’t wait until the day that I am able to fit back into all of those.
